After months of planning, building and testing Mission Despatch have today officially rolled out their new I.T system integration. The new system effectively increases capacity tenfold, and more importantly provides customers with a seamless book, track & trace facility for UK Domestic and international shipments. This is in addition to the facility already in place for Same Day Couriers.
The bespoke integration with one of the UK’s largest wholesale carriers means that over 85% of UK Domestic (Next Day) and international freight movements will now be fully automated from point of booking right through to the final delivery. As well as being able to book and track online, customers will receive regular status alerts via email every step of the way, and in the event of a query such as goods being held in customs, or an addressee not being home when the courier attempts to deliver, an email will be automatically triggered to advise them. Even more appealing is that customers can now book & track every single service, including Same Day couriers, all from one simple to use platform. It really doesn’t get any easier.
With business and trends changing at an increasingly rapid pace, Mission Despatch recognised the need to provide a platform that would be highly attractive to customers in vastly different market places, and that require a very different range of services.
